Second observation
report
Since the beginning I had
the opportunity to see that the teacher´s attitude was the same, he was very
enthusiastic, dynamic and very kind with the students. The students were also
very active and participative, but of course there are some of them who do not
like to participate during the activities.
The teacher always continue
the same way correcting mistakes, he did it in a general way without pointing
at someone. I consider that it helps the students to participate and get rid of
the fears of being criticized by their classmates. One of the limitations that
this group had is that most of the students do not have the book and it is kind
of difficult for the teacher to work on it, but what the teacher did is that he
used another kind of activities in order to develop the topic. he always asked
the students to work in pairs or groups of three so some of the students can
have the opportunity to work with the book the group also is very friedly
between them. As this group is in advanced level the purpose of the teacher is
to have them speaking that is way the teacher asked him to perform a role play
and asked them to develop some discussions related to a certain topic. As I could see the teacher use most of the things related to classroom management, the only one that it is dificult to put into practice is the seatting arrangement because of the classrooms is very small, so it is impossible to arrange the desks in a different way.
